Climbing School
          About Climbing School

We provide guided ascents up all of Ecuador's eleven peaks over 5,000 m (16,400 ft) and climbing school courses; all with recommended acclimatization options to better prepare for and prevent altitude sickness. The beautiful highland treks and low elevation ascents will help you acclimatize to the higher elevation of Ecuador. These are then followed by an ascent of one of the high altitude peaks, such as Chimborazo.

Ecuador's peaks offer a perfect introduction to high altitude mountaineering; two of the most popular ascents are Cotopaxi (5,897 m/ 19,347 ft), one of the world's tallest active volcanoes and Chimborazo (6,310 m/20, 702 ft), the country's highest peak. Climbers from all over the world come to the Ecuadorian Andes to undertake these classic climbs. These peaks offer something for every skill level: from the technical mixed climbs, to the relatively easy, steady glacier ascent, ideal for a beginner's first high altitude trip.

For those desiring to add to their repertoire of climbing skills, we also offer a climbing school that operates on one of the best training grounds in the world. You will hone your rescue skills, mountaineering and high altitude climbing techniques on the majestic Ecuadorian peaks, where the challenges are similar to those found in the highest mountain ranges of the world.
